That is an amazing combination :) McDowell is rated the number 2 defensive end and Marshall the number 10 . That is around the same as your two . But Ohio state will be freakish coming off the edge. McDowell like Washington can play inside also. Can not believe McDowell is 6 f 7

McDowell and Washington could easily be compared. But, Spence has it all over Marshall, and it's not even close. Marshall is a very good prospect, but certainly not elite.

We'll see. I still have a hard time seeing Hand and McDowell going to the same school.

Recruiting threads have very specific and strict guidelines. Furthermore this is Buckeye planet and definitely not the venue for going on and on about the delightful news and epic greatness of rival classes.


If there is news, it can be posted. If there is a brief comment that is relevant and not resulting in constant posts to a thread of a player not headed to osu, then post it. If not, do not post it in these threads. At best it should go In the tsun threads. We had to create an entire subside for the overzealous fans of other teams that loved our forum and structure but couldn't contain their excitement over the glories of non Buckeye recruiting developments.

This does not mean you cannot post as a visiting Dan we welcome it just be respectful of where you are, especially in this forum which is very strictly moderated.

Has Mcdowell ever visited OSU? I am surprised that his thread hasn't been moved to the 2014 forum by now.

Both are SDEs. While it would be a major coup to bring in that kind of depth at one position (and one could certainly move down), they will still likely be competing against each other. Something tells me there is a reason neither has committed yet. Could be waiting to see what the other is doing.

Or that could just be wishful thinking on my part. We'll see.

McDowell's plan all along has been to announce at his AA game. Was said that he was leaning towards committing at the BHBBQ but decided to hold off. Hand's plan initially was to announce at his AA game but he decided to move his time table up because there is no reason to wait when he already has a good idea on where he is going to go. I believe he is going to announce after his last official to Alabama. Decision coming on Nov. 14th.
