I think it is more of an indication that recruits may believe Hoke doesn't have much time left at Michigan.

11. Malik McDowell, DE, Detroit (Mich.) Southfield Uncommitted You can’t teach length and McDowell has that in spades. The 6-7 defender plays high at times but his athleticism allows him to get away with it. McDowell is probably the top pass-rushing threat for the West.
