Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

If another forklift driver at my warehouse banged my mom, I'd do more than transfer to another warehouse.

I'd bet real money that if someone with neck tatts bumped uglies with your mom, you'd change professions.

We will never know if LBJ and Cleveland would have had another top 50 player now. Jordan didn't win his first title till his 7th or 8th year. LBJ is entering his 8th I believe. I think Boozer could of been the player but either Cleveland was duped or didn't want to pay the money. Anyway, all top championship teams need more than one great player.

As to who my mother does, it doesn't bother me who she chooses to sleep with. That is on her. I need to focus on what I can do, not others. I just think it's immature to let something like the Delonte situation affect your decision. I don't know if it did, but it shouldn't. LBY should just admit to himself that his mom is a wh0re if she really did sleep with Delonte. Who knows, maybe she'll go for Bosh next.

And Bird, Magic, and Jordan would never have left a city in their prime to piggy-back off the third best player in the league, who had already won a title. It's ridiculous.

And LeBron could have a top 10 player in Cleveland had he committed to the team. Hell, Cleveland had a trade in place for Bosh to come to the Cavs, but LeBron has had his foot out the door since 2007 when he talked Wade and Bosh into signing 3 year deals....

LeBron turned out to be a bitch, and he's destroying the NBA for smaller market teams by turning the league into an AAU circuit. Unless you're in a major market, you have no chance at landing top free agents, and in fact you have your best players demanding trades out of their city (Carmelo Anthony/Chris Paul) before their contract is even up.

If I'm a Nugget/Hornets/Cavs fan, why even follow the NBA?? LeBron decided to mail the season in last year, just so his walk out of Cleveland would be easier...what a waste of time and money for anyone that went to the Q to support this piece of trash.

This douche-bag supports Ohio State football, and is an avid Kentucky basketball fan. GTFO....

I'd love to see Ohio State play Kentucky in basketball, just so all the people who say he's a good ambassador for our university, could see LeBron sit courtside in his Kentucky gear.... http://twitter.com/BrandonWeems10

You all sound like the nerd who thought he had a chance with the hot chick because he gave her a ride to school on rainy mornings. Then, you realize she's out of your league and doesn't owe you a fucking thing, so you run around telling everyone she's a slut. In the end, you (Cavs) get your dicks kicked in the dirt by the far cooler football player (Heat).

It would be more shocking if it weren't coming from the same fanbase that refuses to blame itself, instead blaming Art Modell for your team leaving for B-More.

Agreed. I've said before that this is the biggest problem with the NBA, and one for which, as of right now, Stern has shown no ability to remedy.

Your analogy, unsurprisingly, fails. It's more like that hot chick tells you she loves you and will never, ever leave you. Then she turns around and does. And you call her a liar (and rightly so, from my vantage point). I don't know why it's so hard for you and others to grasp this, but Cavs' fans problem with LBJ isn't that he left, but it's what he did and said prior to leaving combined with the fact that he left.

Newsflash: Hot chicks and pro athletes lie.

I love how you all act like if he'd have "done it differently", you wouldn't still be crying. Art left "the right way". He said "I need these certain things to stay in this shit hole". Citizens of the shit hole said "fuck yourself". He left. Then the assholes gave the new, shittier version of the team the EXACT FUCKING THINGS Art wanted. But he's the asshole to Browns fans.

Be honest. The thing that really stings is you actually believed he'd stay. He could've left after winning a title and he'd still be the bad guy. You're angry because you thought he had the same loyalty to your team that you do. He doesn't. It's his fucking job. Akron is his hometown, not Cleveland. Lebron owes you jack shit.

You're getting way more emotional just trolling in this thread than I've ever been about the subject.

I seem to have forgotten where I posted my thoughts on Modell. But you have apparently read them. So please provide a link, since you've attributed all of those things to me by responding to my post with the above.

Wrong. Had LBJ given everything he had to the Cavs for 7 years; not lied to everyone about not leaving Cleveland, loving it there, and bringing a title there; and not engaged in "The Decision," I wouldn't have a problem with him at all. Read this carefully, and you'll see there's not a problem with loyalty here.

Akron is his hometown, not Cleveland.

Irrelevant to the conversation of him saying he loves Cleveland, would not leave Cleveland, and would bring a title to Cleveland.

Lebron owes you jack [censored].

Ah, yes--the immature ending to a poorly-reasoned post. Assume that I think LBJ owes me something and then childishly dismiss that incorrect assumption in an attempt to think that you "won."

It's clear Buckyle just hates Cleveland so trying to talk sense into him won't get you very far...

What would you say if Troy Smith transferred to Florida after losing to them in the NC game? And did so on a one hour ESPN special where he said "i'm taking my talents to Gainesville" - and proceeded to shit on Columbus and the Buckeyes from then on claiming that "I was never really a fan of Columbus, cause i'm from Cleveland"

First Kyle...that's the first I've ever heard someone say it's the people of Cleveland that forced Art Modell and the Browns out. The fans were widely considered the best supporters in the NFL when Modell pulled the franchise out, so that makes zero sense. Blame it on Modell, blame it on James White...but the fans is an illogical statement.

And LeBron is the one who was running around saying he wouldn't leave Cleveland until he brought them a championship, that Cleveland had the edge b/c it was his hometown, that family comes first...etc. And then he left for Miami, leaving Savannah and the kids in Bath, OH to join Dwayne Wade and his group-sex parties in South Beach. He convinced Wade and Bosh to sign 3 year deals in '07 so they could team up this off-season in a major market. LeBron and Bosh, as a duo, stayed strong when Toronto and Cleveland had a deal in place to send him to Cleveland with a max deal (shotting down your Top 50 player with Magic and Jordan argument).

And above all else, instead of competing against the best players like Jordan and Magic did, they've created an AAU mindset in the NBA where all the players are buddy-buddy and they'd rather join up to create super-teams rtaher than compete to be the best. It's stupid. Instead of 6-7 very good teams, now we get 3 or 4. And the remaining teams with star players under contract are scrambling to appease their stars or succumbing to trade demands (again CP3 and Melo).

It's crazy what a good off-season Kobe has had just because he's a competitor and all of these other guys have proven how soft their mentalities are. And the Kobe wanting out of LA argument is ridiculous, b/c if he left LA it was for an awful Chicago team. He wanted to go to Chicago to rebuild the Bulls dynasty like MJ did. Not join a top 3 NBA player in a city where he already won a championship.

If this thread wouldn't have been at or near the top of the page since I resumed posting, I'd have ignored it. It wasn't. I didn't.

What the fuck was he supposed to say? "I can't stand this shitty city or you stupid people?" I mean, c'mon. Every pro athlete loves whatever team they currently play for, and would never leave "insert city here".

I'll admit that I am a little pissed at Cavs fans for wishing real harm on a player that made their franchise relevant again. I'll also admit that most of my post was directed at most of the Browns/Cavs fans I know personally. I didn't have the stomach to read back more than a few pages on here. I mean seriously...he left Cleveland for South Beach. I fucking LOVE Ohio. But I wouldn't mind an all expense paid three year contract doing something I love along with a couple friends. I'll retire in Ohio.

Which is precisely why I now give fuck-all for the nba. Won't watch it, won't follow it. It's a bunch of uneducated street punks with way too much money ruining a great game. As for LeBron, well, I'm sick of going on about him. I don't hate him for leaving Cleveland. I hate him because he held the franchise hostage for three years all the while never having any intention of resigning and then went and had a "look at me" circle jerk to announce he was leaving. Fuck him. I hope he gets eaten by a shark.
