Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Lebum is such a jackass that I actually find myself cheering for the Celtics.

Bronny James:
NBA - 18 GP, 4.2 MPG, .258 FG%, .200 3P%, .667 FT% 1.4 ppg, 0.4 rpg, 0.4 apg
NCAA - 25 GP, 19.3 MPG, .366 FG%, .267 3P%, .667 FT%, 4.8 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 2.1 apg

There is not another basketball player on this planet that would be in the NBA with those numbers. Not one. With those college stats, I cannot imagine that player being in the G-League, let alone spending most of the season on an NBA team. To try to tap dance around the fact that this is not the ultimate nepotism move is insulting. He SHOULD be getting called out for this bullshit. Junior is literally earning a lucrative salary by holding down the bench in between sporadic appearances of really bad basketball because his dad is LeBron James.

If James wants to win a fifth championship, the hope is that the Lakers will be able to help him do so next season. The midseason acquisition of Luka Dončić positioned the Lakers to not only improve, but to take the ball out of James' hands a bit and potentially keep him fresher over a long season. The improvement of Austin Reaves accomplishes the same goal. The Lakers have draft capital to trade, and if James is willing to leave a bit of money on the table, could be active in free agency using the mid-level exception. With one good summer, as James learned in 2019, the Lakers can build a championship team.

Justy sayin': "If James wants to win a fifth championship, the hope is that the Lakers will be able to help him do so next season." The only chance for the Lakers to field a championship caliber team is for James to leave a whole lot of money on table. He needs to opt out of the $54M and resign for the NBA minimum (which will never happen) to give the Lakers some salary cap room to sign a couple top line players.

I’m pretty sure he could move right back into his house near Akron if he wants to play with the Cavs. For the minimum;-)
With the big caveat that I haven't watched a second of the NBA in around 7 years or so....

There's no way you want LeBitch on the Cavs. He would disrupt all of the team's chemistry and would demand to be "the guy" since he's "back home".
