I believe that they are hoping to put out such a huge movie with the Avengers that the movies leading up have been less spectacular. Thor was a good movie, Iron'Man did decline a bit, and the second make of Hulk was good. If Capatin America is decent then it will build up perfectly to the Avenger movie. They have to make it a hit though.
and Hulk in the Avengers is going to be played by a third actor in Mark Ruffalo. Kind of sucks though, I really liked Norton in the last installment.

I just recently seen Super 8. Fun and they keep you guessing. I would say good and worth your time but nothing that can't wait for DVD or Netflix. Think ET with a Bad attitude that happens to find our government before he finds the nice kid that wants to help him get home.

For me the kids annoyed me and it was full of cliches. I was totally bored out of my mind

Just finished watching Win Win, if you haven't seen (or heard of ) it, go see it. It's a good movie. It has it's comedic moments, it has it's dramatic moments, but overall it's just a really good well written movie.

Eric Bana and Ang Lee's Hulk doesn't have anything to do with anything. Most people pretend like it doesn't exist. That being said, Mark Ruffalo could be a worthwhile replacement for the Bruce Banner role if they make his return less about Banner and more about Hulk, which I am personally pulling for.

they tried to get norton back but had contract disputes, sucks it always has to come down to $$$

I read it had far less to do with money than creative control. Norton had some notes for the script and for his role that he felt would help the movie, but the production staff was having none of it, so he walked. That could turn out to be the weak link in the whole Avengers series, if you ask me. Any ensemble cast that has the chance to take advantage of Ed Norton's incredible talent and doesn't is already about 4 strokes over par.

"We have made the decision to not bring Ed Norton back to portray the title role of Bruce Banner in the Avengers. Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members. The Avengers demands players who thrive working as part of an ensemble, as evidenced by Robert, Chris H, Chris E, Sam, Scarlett, and all of our talented casts. We are looking to announce a name actor who fulfills these requirements, and is passionate about the iconic role in the coming weeks."

Norton's camp fired back saying it was financial.....

Limp Bizkit's camp said it's all about the he said she said bullshit
