October 30: Walker re-affirms commitment to Ohio State, talks about enrolling early
November 3: Walker de-commits from Ohio State
The four-star running back had a tough time getting going in the game and it seemed like he waited too long in the backfield for blockers and then never shot through open holes. It could be a question of speed, because it didn’t seem like he was all that sudden with the ball in his hands. There wasn’t much running room, to be fair, but Walker didn’t make much happen, either.
Well maybe the better lesson learned is that Meyer evaluates talent really well and knows when it's OK to cut bait.

Excellent point. I've been disagreeing with the comparison to Green because in the battle of Green vs Elliot, Meyer chose Elliot. In this case, Meyer chose Walker. But, as you guys point out, he also chose to let Walker....uh...walk.Agreed. It's interesting to watch the difference in Urban's approach to a longshot like Rashan Gary where he's pulled out all the stops despite the fact Ohio State has never really been it and the manner in which Ohio State just kind of accepted Walker's inevitable decommitment while moving on quickly with Antonio Williams. It seemed they weren't all that interested in getting back in the race for Walker.
With zero fight... Either telling about his abilities, his personality or both.Excellent point.
