Good thing Kareem enrolled early or that offer might not have made it to Signing Day.
The tv show is SurvivorI love this, where is it from?
Rumor that Walker is transferring from Michigan.

Amazing that when he switched last year it was such a great get. Turns out he can't handle the competition/academics/coaching intensity - you fill in the blanks.
However you slice it, that is two of the highest rated members of last seasons vaunted recruiting class who are gone.
Q: Did Ohio State dodge a bullet with Kareem Walker?

I can agree with this, and also take a step further. If you watch film on both Walker and Antonio Williams from their Senior years. It was apparent that Walker didn't have the same spark, push, drive like Williams did. Walker looked like a good RBm and I felt at times like I/we needed to defend Walker at times because he was a OSU commit, but he seemed like a kid that needs an amazing O line in order to be good, but didn't have much break away speed, didn't catch many balls out of the backfield and seemed to fall after little contact. Even though Williams played inferior competition in a smaller league in NC, he absolutely dominated the competition. It seemed to me like Walker let his foot off the gas during his senior season when he knew his #1 ranking, that's not a mark of an Urban Meyer type of playerDid they dodge a bullet with Derrick Green?
I think the bottom line is the staff is just better at evaluating talent than almost all of their peers, which includes intangibles like the ability to grind.
The personality trait of 'grit,' which is a hot topic of research these days, is just another aspect of "he'll choke you over a game of checkers," in my opinion.
