Jim Tressel (National Champion, ex-President, Youngstown State University, CFB HOF)

Amen to that! Living in TSUN for the last 18 years, I really really appreciate the man!!

Tomorrow I am wearing my red sweater vest to work! WOO HOO!! (my wife got me one just like JT's for Christmas).

I also get to collect on my bet with my work buddy who is a DIE HARD ND fan.

Awesome coaching, great calmness through the ups and downs of the game. JT never gets flustered, never yells at his players, never loses his cool. As someone just said on 1460, all the talk about Charlie Weis this, and Charlie Weis the genius, bla bla bla. Well, Weis, you've just been VESTED!!! (as in red sweater)

Go Bucks!!!!

FANTASTIC! I was there during the Cooper years and it featured talented players that underachived (of course there were exceptions... the greatest of which was Eddie!!) But under Tress, that great OSU team pride and aura has returned that I knew as a young kid watching Woody's teams...that larger than life arua of the buckeyes is back...Thank you gentleman Jim!!!

Quite an tOSU resume'. High School kids should be lining up to play for great man like JT. Maybe this showing by the Bucks, help us look like the flavor of the month. If you want to win big games come to Ohio State!
Again, thank you Coach! Go Bucks!

JT...class

Tress makes the hair on my arms stand up with pride!! When I was at tOSU, you couldn't watch the TV for 5 min. without seeing him (Cooper) sell something in a commercial... "give 'em a big bear hug" -it was pathetic! Tressel only does PSA's... a great coach, a great human being!...God bless Tress!

CONFESSION:

I have been extremely critical of Jim Tressel in the past - for the conservative offense and for what I perceived to be a lack of discipline.

But, he has earned immunity. 4-1 against Michigan? 4 in a row in bowl games? I promise not to bitch about the greatest coach in college football for at least another 6 months.

IT"S GREAT TO BE A BUCKEYE!!!!

We may not win the NC every year, and every game might not go in our favor, but tOSU can play with anyone. We are relevant at the end of the year, even last year when we had 4 losses, we smoked our bowl opponent, and could have PLAYED WITH anyone in the nation. I remember when I used to dread the scUM game and the bowl game, because I knew that we did not play well in them, it is such a joy to be able to look forward to these big games again.

I also have to say that I was wrong. I have had my doubts about JT's play calling, but most of all, Jim Bollman's coaching of the offensive line. It seems that Bollman has got things going, and it really shows with our offensive performance. I guess it just takes some time to get the right players in, and to get everything clicking. Here is to hoping the the O-line, and the offense improve even more, and steal the "Greatest Offense of All Time" label from the Trojans.

IT'S GREAT TO BE A BUCKEYE!!
