I don't know what part of the North you live in, but in my part, we've had indoor plumbing for a hundred years. It might be below zero outside, but ORD's throne room is a toasty 71 degrees. The Ferguson is warm.

Got down to about 55 last night. Had to kick on the heater to knock the chill out of the house. Should get up to low 70s today though.

Gave in and turned on the heater this morning since the temp in the apartment dropped below 65. The AC will be back on in a day or 2. Crazy weather swings.

Chicago is quickly becoming a giant sheet of ice. Going to be lots of cracked craniums in the big city tonight.

Dreary and a little muggy. Yesterday it said it was going to be clear and sunny until late afternoon, so I was hoping to go out and get some more time with my new camera. Instead I wake up to ugly grey skies. Blah.

New furnace going in today. Thank you polar vortex for killing ours. Actually, it was 30 years old, so it was likely on its last legs anyways. Oh, and I've been breathing toxic fumes for the past couple of days... please excuse my extra drain bramage.
