Exactly. While I do want the new structure to move faster than the NCAA in general, I hope they allow for the punishment for the CUNTS to be handed down BEFORE they fly the Double Bird to the NCAA. As much as I would want them to have the power to punish scUM appropriately for crimes committed before the new power structure was a thing, the scUM have shown that they are plenty willing to go to court to avoid being held accountable. Not being a lawyer, I don't have an opinion on whether such a suit would hold up in court. Unless one of our actual lawyers (will the real BKB please stand up) weighs in with a reason to be optimistic; I'd rather they didn't risk it. Let the process play out. Then kick the NCAA to the curb.

And make one of the new by-laws of the new power structure be that any institution that is on active probation with the former power structure begins their involvement with the new structure by being burned to the ground and the earth salted. And don't let the namby-pamby court system get in the way.

We have talked at length about coaches needing to be CEOs. It seems now they will need CFOs as well.

Looked liked Joel Klatt was in Day's pocket all day. PS, surprisingly, Day is moving into the role of CEO (being a spokesman, rather than a down and dirty coach), really well. Still showing his chops as a knowledgeable coach, his comments to Klatt were always positive, and anything negative was hedged a bunch. Again, am totally surprised Day is letting go, but maybe need to temper this, by saying towards the end, he was sticking his nose into the huddle, like the Day of old. Interesting that Chip wasn't doing that from the jump, or like Urban, standing three feet behind the line of scrimmage. Oh well, it's a new day. Overall, an entertaining day, can't wait to hear the talking recruiting heads give forth on how/what the myriad of recruits had to say. Saw the #1 2026 say 'best visit by far'. But this is from a Lousiana guy coming to the big city. Go Bucks!

I think many of us wondered, and it's still a fair question, whether being a CEO head coach would be too big for him; whether he could and/or would do it. How he handled this game with all of the Fox programming/involvement was only one data point as to the answer, but it certainly looked positive to me. I think he likes the changes that have been made and he trusts the new coaches. I doubt that he'd be anywhere near as comfortable with anyone other than Kelly as OC, but great, Kelly's who we have. Let's get after it.
