I was Team Stannis for life but not anymore. His hand is going to be beside himself when he learns the little girl was burned alive.
If only Jon Snow had knocked up Milesandre - none of this would have happened.
I laughed a little at the recap I read a few episodes ago when he gave his heart warming speech to his daughter about how he loves her. At the time, people thought it was him being a good dad. NOPE....just a setup. It's funny how much time they spent making him likable just to burn it to the ground like that. Still want him to cut off Ramsay's nuts then the dragons or White Walkers can have him.

Same for me with the Unsullied. These are the same badasses that stand there with no reaction while somebody cuts off a nipple? Maybe that's some kind of fucked up commentary about how to train a warrior....if they're not slaves treated like shit then they fight like pussies. I doubt it, though. That scene did all the heavy lifting for the entire season. It made Stannis seem like an awesome dude and won over the remaining viewers that weren't on his side, despite the fact he's a delusional religious wing nut that's been burning people alive since Season 2. Stannis has killed one brother, burned Mance alive, killed his wife's family, countless members of his own small council and army, and would have popped his nephew too if Davos hadn't interfered.
The other important point with that scene was that it provided all the exposition necessary for viewers to understand greyscale, so that when Jorah gets it we know immediately he's doomed.
I think what's really bothering me this season (because it happened again last night) is that the Unsullied are proving to be less than useless when Dany needs them most. For being such great, legendary warriors, it's disappointing to see them getting pwned by rich dudes in trick or treat masks that presumably have no real melee training.

The unsullied have been wrecked by the show. They don't feel pain. Period. So why are they screaming and flinching when they get stabbed? This show is becoming unwatchable fast.
Now that I'm read the books, I'm just not as bothered by the TV taking some liberties with the story, but I'm usually not when a book is made into a TV series or movie in the first place...
