Stannis is devoted to Melisandre because he's seen the power of her magic. Renly. The death of the Robb and Joffrey. Now, we can seriously question whether her magic is good or evil (probably the latter). But it is quite powerful. It's not entirely unreasonable that Stannis would do as she commands considering what he has seen of her capabilities and what we know of his ambitions.

Now the rest of us know that Stannis is not the Chosen One. It is either Dany, Jon Snow, Bran, or a combination thereof who defeat the white walkers. Stannis will not defeat the white walkers. He will likely end up flayed or on the wrong end of Drogon's halitosis at some point. And that's just fucking fine by me.

While I agree it would be cheaper.... i find the quality of the streams from NOW to be ... lacking ... especially in darker scenes.... for that I'd buy the Blu-ray... They really need to step up their game on the streaming

Yea, I looked into HBO now and I believe it's only for apple TV and stuff. Either way, I hassled my cable company into giving me HBO for 4 dollars a month. It's fun to call them every 6 months threatening to cancel to see what they can give you to keep you from going away.
