Pictures are looking good. Keeping posting them, please!

By the way, I prefer the old non-color endzones. But the red endzones won't ruin my day.

i think once they get the letters in the endzone you will be a lot more pleased with them.......maybe not more than before but more so than the plain red ones right now.

I didn't intend to imply that I'm at all unhappy with the red endzones. And I know that the letters (I would guess that they'd be gray, but white would be OK, too) will only improve how it looks. I just meant that my vote was for the plain grass endzones (with the lettering, of course).

I think that as long as they don't paint a checkerboard or diagonal lines, or something like that, it'll look good.

you don't like the checkerboard idea? i actually thought a tennessee scarlet and gray theme endzone would look nice but that would obviously be jacking their theme plus the more and more i look at the design scheme for this field and the progress they are making, the more i am beginning to like it. it is supposed to be white letters with a bold gray line outlining the white lettering. i think it will look very nice as long as they keep the gray outlining.

Regardless, it'll take some time to get used to it. But I'm sure that in a few years, I'll see some pictures from 2006 and before, and I'll think it looks funny with no paint in the endzones.

Edit: Or, like my wife said, at least it isn't a blue field.

I'm all for diamonds in the endzone

Ehh, idk.. since i've been around, all i've seen in the show were the 'empty' endzones. i've always loved the grass enzones, seemed unique to me but the red dosen't look that bad, and it's 'throw back' or whatever with the uni's.. it dosen't look bad right now and that field looks sexy.

you guys should use these pictures for the live game threads

i would but i will be at the game. but it saves a generous amount so you can always go back in time and see them. i didn't look at them last year. i saw the field was going down so i searched for the cams on the osu surveillance site and found that one. they actually have/had 3 others but i don't know if they are still there.
