Mayor Adam West: MY GOD! Somebody's stealing my water!
Meg Griffin: It just went down the drain.
Mayor Adam West: They're crafty i tell you. It happens when you least expect it.
[Waters plant.]
Mayor Adam West: SHOW YOURSELVES, DAMN YOU! I've been investigating them for months. It has cost $150,000 dollars of the tax payers money, But I'll find the culprits if it costs me a million.
Meg Griffin: You know, I think I have my story.
Mayor Adam West: You can't print that! It'll compromise my entire investigation! Thank God she's just a figment of my imagination.

Well there was the one from last year where Brian campaigned for same-sex marriages, which was the primary storyline.

Of course, Mayor West using the issue to hide his misuse of funds to build a giant Dig 'Em Frog Statue was classic.

Right, but he said they take stuff from vh1 for the story lines. Family guy has has several issues that they have "tackled" Chris falling in love with his teacher and trying to kill her husband is another on that comes to mind, but they don't base whole story lines based on just some celebrity crap in the news like some tried to say they do.

As for futurama, they are bringing back new episodes starting in 2008

South Park by far... those guys who do it are comic geniuses to combine social commentary with comedy and still make it halarious.

Social commentary and political satire as comedy have only been around for about 6000 years; so yeah, they're right on the edge there.

Their commentary is clever on occasion, but is usually tedious.

As opposed to Stewie's nonstop sexual innuendo? Nothing like hearing the same jokes over and over, again.

I like both, but one thing I really fucking hate about family guy is when...like when Peter hit his shin, and they think it's hilarious to have him sitting there holding his leg, breathing in for a minute and a half. It's fucking annoying sometimes.
