It's hilarious when Peter does it.

No, it's not. At least, it's not to me. That's not the only example either. They do that shit all the time. Like they couldn't come up with another random, irrellevant joke to kill thirty seconds.

Brian is the best character on the show, imo.

Family guy has more sophisticated humor. South Park gets boring after a few episodes.

My more intelligent friends watch Family Guy. My pot head friends watch South Park.

South Park started out as stupid random humor, but then they started basing entire shows around a single joke or point of satire and it really lost a lot when they started doing that.

I'll admit that recent South Park isn't as good as like, say, the first 8 - 9 seasons. But Family Guy had at most 2 decent seasons. Very hit or miss - mostly miss.

Agreed

Family Guy has slacked recently too, but it still generates a couple laughs. I'm generally just annoyed by South Park at this point. That being said, I don't watch it enough to have a valid opinion.

That said, I can't do any of the voices from Family Guy but I can do a few from South Park, so South Park still wins

Family Guy makes jokes in a completely non-sequitur manner that are almost always centered around the "hey, I remember that! ah nostalgia is funny!" vein of humor. South Park, although last season wasn't as good as the past few, was as good as it gets about 2 or 3 seasons ago.
