Seems like classic last minute smoke to create some drama for a decision that's been made for months.

It seems likely the visit could have been more about the collateral benefits- impressing area coaches and others about the importance Ohio State places on recruiting the area- or something along those lines.

Absolutely. On both counts. The coaches made a point last night that they will recruit the best players in the country under any conditions. And that's something that will resonate.

But DPJ is still going to Michigan. Total smoke screen.

Not buying it. If any of the analysts actually thought these FSU/OSU rumors were true, you'd see some Crystal Balls moving. No one who pays attention to this stuff thinks DPJ is going anywhere but Ann Arbor.
