Lets see. That would include 3 years under Dick Rod. One Wildly successful season by Hoke standards with a prompt return to mediocrity. In that time span, Sparty, Wisky and even State Penn have had more success.

So...yeah, I'd say 4th or 5th best at the very least, over the past 5 years.

The last time a scUM player came out w/ such a bold statement about beating OSU, they proceeded to go 0-4 in their college career against the Bucks. Thank you Mike Hart. And thank you Gardner. I love the banter 2 months before the season starts. It is going to make the 13-0 season that is about to occur that much sweeter.

With an average at best RB to hand off to (outside of maybe a true freshman), no threats at WR to throw to, and a defense whose best player has a torn ACL and no real playmakers either- who wouldn't be feeling confident right now?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the head coach who has won just slightly over half of the games he has coached in.

I mean, did you know that he can throw an out route with his eyes closed against air? I'm shaking in my boots thinking of the precision pre game out routes Gardner will be throwing all season.

I still laugh at Michigan fans thinking he's any good at the QB position. Any offensive production they had against us last year was Denard all greased up or defensive penalties. Bring it the fuck on. Our backup is better than you are.

Bingo. The guy couldn't even lead his team to the other side of the 50-yard line in the second half against OSU, so I'm supposed to believe his smack talk because he lit up 4-8 Iowa in Ann Arbor? Please. The only people buying into the hype on this guy are Michigan fans and cincibuck. :lol:

I'm fine with him saying that, just makes the rivalry that much more fun. I don't think Gardner meant any disrespect, he just wanted to show confidence in his team and excite the fans.

In any event, we are going to continue the curb-stomping that Boren gave him last year...yeah, lets pick up from there.

I have no problem with him being confident that they will win every game, especially their rivalry game. It will be fun when he has to recant after their loss in The Whore's Big Outhouse in late November.

Fun times.

OK....I've seen a few posts about how good this kid is supposed to be this year in other peoples' threads and I bit my tongue because it wasn't the right place for it. But I've now seen one too many.

This kid is not that good. I'm going to love watching him fall on his face while all the Michigan fans act completely surprised and wonder what happened to the super human they built him up to be for some unknown reason. It's like they didn't even watch him last year at all. Anything remotely positive from them against us last year was either a greased up Denard or defensive penalties. Did he do anything against us last year? This is going to be fun to watch.
