Well, you see, it's all about frames of reference. If both teams win out, then we'd have a situation as follows.

For Ohio State fans, our team will have had:

  • 5 seasons with less than two losses in fifteen years
  • 4 seasons with 2 or fewer losses in 15 years
  • 1 seasons with 3 losses in 15 years
  • 5 seasons with more than 3 losses in 15 years

For TSUN fans, we're talking about a team that will have had:


  • 0 seasons with less than two losses in fifteen years
  • 3 seasons with 2 or fewer losses in 15 years
  • 6 seasons with 3 losses in 15 years
  • 6 seasons with more than 3 losses in 15 years


Even if Ohio State only were to beat Illinois, all but the top line of this comparison would be the same.

I really can't think of someone better. What I see in the eyes of Denard Robinson is the same fear one saw in the eyes of Dennis Brown, Don Moorhead, and Dennis Franklin. Jack Tatum lit 'em up in 1968-1970. Adams, Gradishar and Cousineau lit 'em up in the 1970s. You could see the white of their eyes from the stands, if they made it to the 3rd quarter.

Denard tried to embarrass Ohio State last year, when they barely won. Now, he appears to be looking for any excuse to miss The Game this year. I will be amazed if he makes it to the 4th quarter, absolutely amazed.

C'mon. Any coach who put Brax back in that game after the way he walked off would be criminally negligent IMO.
