Denard "LLL" Robinson (an excellent driver)

Has anyone ever won both the Johnny Unitas and Ray Guy awards in the same year?

Nicely done. The "Golden Punt Arm".

Looking at it as a serious question - Sammy Baugh could have, had those awards existed in the mid-1930. :wink2:

He led the NFL in punting in 1940 with a 51.4 average, and ended his NFL career with a 45.1 average.

Aside from the eating taunt, Denard is a pretty likeable wolverine.

Yes he is fragile, but that doesn't really elicit hatred like Hart's mouth and temperament.

While we're at it, let me throw some "love" out to Marcus Ray. Woodson's play backed up Marcus' mouth, he got humiliated by David Boston in 1998 when Woodson wasn't around anymore, and he STILL pops up from time to time to talk shit.

and does so about illegal benefits when he was suspended for that exact reason. There was no statute of limitations to protect him.

Maybe because he reminds him of a certain piece of Wood.

Is he starring in an upcoming Howdy Doody live action flick that I was unaware of?

He may make a decent wide receiver in the arena league...

Bingo. This is precisely why I thought it was ridiculous last year when Denard "announced" that he was coming back for his senior season. Worse yet, I recall ESPN fueled the flame by scrolling it at the bottom of the screen during a CBB game I was watching. Up to that point, I hadn't realized Big Ten football players had considered leaving school early to enter the Arena League draft.
