The Bills need you Vernon :)

I'm sure that's true:

The Bills will pay Big Bucks, while playing for the Bucks won't pay the Bills.
But some players who leave early regret missing even one year of the college experience for the sake of not delaying gratification of another kind.

Oh well

Whatever you decide, Vern; we're behind you. Even if it's only for one more game; we'll enjoy every minute of it.

Actually, the number was not officially retired when Katzenmoyer wore it... it was kind of an unwritten "rule" out of respect for the 2-time Heisman winner. His number was officially retired in 1999 after Katzenmoyer left and was the first number to be retired at Ohio State.
Yup. And after Coopers dumbass allowed Kat to ask Archie (whats Archie going to say.. i mean c'mon) they began retiring numbers. What a fucking joke Kat wearing that number was.. as good as he was.. fucking joke.

Goes along with all the "not understanding tradition" thoughts that go hand-in-hand with John Cooper.

Cooper not understanding tradition??? That's unpossible!

Congrats to Vernon for being named 2nd team Walter Camp All-American.

Football: The Walter Camp All-American Team has been announced and the Buckeyes are well represented.
Linebacker James Laurinaitis was named first-team All-American while defensive end Vernon Gholston and defensive back Malcolm Jenkins received second-team recognition.

The second best case scenario here is for Vern to wave goodbye to TOSU and all of us fans on 1/8/08 with a Big' Ol National Championship ring ready to go on his finger.

We all know what the best case scenario is.

Whatever Vern chooses, best of luck in the Big Game. We appreciate everything he has done for us as a kid from , uh, up there.

Thats what separates us from scUM, they'll hover on Ohio kids, some that do well, and some that don't. As far as I know (or can remember) the only really true "impact" players we've taken from Michigan in like "forever" are Pepper, Krenzel, and Vern.

What a nice and 'short" roll call.
