Brutus Buckeye @Brutus_Buckeye
Mascot S/O to freshmen P Cameron Johnston, DL Tyquan Lewis and LB Trey Johnson for having "black stripes" removed today at prac.
http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/2013/12/finally_its_vonn_bell_time_and.htmlFreshman defensive end Tyquan Lewis: The 6-foot-2, 240-pounder from North Carolina finds himself at a position of strength for the Buckeyes, with sophomore Noah Spence and freshman Joey Bosa the starters at defensive end. Sophomore Adolphus Washington started the season at end before Bosa took his spot and Washington moved inside. And Jamal Marcus proved to be an asset as a third-down pass-rush specialist. Still, Lewis was named by both center Corey Linsley and defensive lineman Michael Bennett when asked for bowl practice players to watch.
“He's really starting to come along this season,” Bennett said. “Just looking back at who he was this spring, he's a completely different guy. I think he's going to be a playmaker.”
“Tyquan Lewis is getting a lot of praise,” Linsley said.
In the latest presser Coach talked about Steve Miller or Frazier playing in Spence's absence. Was surprised that TL was not mentioned. Any word on how he is doing in camp?
