The fact that he's the only one able to really stick with Tyjon is enough for me. Do we have the space, thats the real question? Man, he's good though.
I think you have to find a way to make room for Holmes if he wants in...

Sad but true.If he wants in, some other commit will suddenly decide to go somewhere else.
There's almost no one to trim at this point.Holmes is in if he wants in. End of story. Sounds like he had a great camp, glad he made it back out. He is getting out here quite a bit, very good sign.
What I don't understand is, how could you land 3 of the top 4 guys at a single position? That would be just silly. And then have 2 additional guys who are in the top 150 overall at that same position. After turning away the #5 guy at that position because of his height.

I think CB is a very tough position to predict and our staff doesn't bring in slot CBs, so all will get a chance outside and inside. The best 3 CBs always play. And with Riep's height I definitely see him on the outside. Big lanky CBs are the new norm to battle the bigger WRs. I can even see something unexpected happening like Okudah staying at CB and Riep or Holmes going to SI think they see it like this:
CB: Wade/Holmes
S: Pryor/Okudah(even though we know he's being told he will get his shot at CB)
And then Riep(S) and Williamson(slot corner)still have the ability to earn time.
They must also be selling the fact that Hooker, Conley, and Lattimore could all be leaving.
Absolutely insane if this happens. I'm trying, really REALLY trying to stay calm...

Heavy emphasis on this! There's still so much time until NSDThe thing with Holmes, if you look how early the staff was in on him, his actions and willingness to keep coming back to C-Bus and listen to what he has said along the way, his likelihood of being a Buckeye really never seemed long a long shot. It only did to me because of the scorched earth aspect that would mean in one class. It's just total domination and something you never see so I never considered it realistic.
If it happens.
Agreed. But athletes like that I'd like to see on the defensive side. The athleticism we see with our DBs now is hopefully what we continue in the futureAnother thing about Holmes watching his film, is that he could easily be used on offense if needed so he has some real flexibility, he and Shaun Wade could play either side at a high level.
Brendan White is also like this just terrific athletes.
