Precisely, particularly stanford.I'd be more worried about Stanford, UCLA and USC than the Corn...
If Darnay is truly a five-star, top-20 talent, then he would see the field ASAP at Ohio State. All of these points make sense to Buckeye fans. But we're dealing with a 16yo, who probably wants to see the field ASAP. And OSU's coaches can't say that that would happen. It's an easier depth chart in Nebraska, of course nothing is promised or set, but there's a reason kids from CA have been flocking to the middle of nowhere, they can see the field very early. All of the past accomplishments by OSU may be moot with Darnay
Talent and ranking alone don't ensure that you'll see the field immediately. Ask Brionte Dunn... 5star and top 20 mean something in Hs. Any college student/athlete will tell you that freshman year is FAR different than HS. Not saying that Darnay couldn't play, but his ranking means jack squat in regards if he'd see the field. If Darnay is truly a five-star, top-20 talent, then he would see the field ASAP at Ohio State.

Calabasas (Calif.) High's Darnay Holmes is the No. 1 corner prospect in the country, but he is just as dangerous on offense as he is on defense. He i a lockdown corner, one of the best pure cover corners from the region in some time, but he is also a key offensive weapon for Calabasas, able to play both running back or receiver. In fact, during the spring, he played a lot of offense on the 7-on-7 circuit and was almost impossible to cover. It would not be a surprise if he gets some offensive reps in college and is used as a return man likeUSC uses Adoree Jackson.
Recruiting Update: UCLA, Nebraska, Ohio State, Arizona, Stanford and Washington are recruiting Holmes hard, but keep an eye on UCLA, Nebraska and Ohio State. It could come down to one of them.
