There's a rumor floating around that Carter has asked for a trade.
I hate that he's a bitch (I've always disliked the guy, but some of that disappeared into the back of my skull when he was traded). But this could actually help the Jackets. They could almost certainly upgrade D and goaltending by trading a player of his caliber. Boston seems like a nice fit. LA has some nice pieces too, but I'm not sure how much they need Carter. He'd be nice on the wing.
