There are groups of particularly aggressive young riders who do shit like that! It's a very anti-biking approach. Like bands of Jap bike riders taking lanes and doing stunts.
Stupid!
If they survive, they become saner, safer riders.
I have no sympathy for them!

Actually... one day I was headed East on West NorthBroadway... when turning south onto Olentangy River Road (it is a curved turned) I was head on with a dude in an electric wheelchair, in the middle of the effin road heading right for me... I had to swerve up on the sidewalk to avoid hitting him... UGH!

As a cyclist may I say FUCK YOU. I pay for the roads just like you do. If you don't like it, get on the fucking highway assholes. I have had shit thrown at me, been slugged, had doors opened, and had people try to kill me litterally. So before you all think that you are so tough and important behind the wheel of your cars, BIKES HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS CARS. Don't like it, write congress. Anyone want to tell me I should not be there, we can discuss in person if you like.

I know what I am in for, I will not bitch when I get hit. But I will pull people out of the car if they fuck with me intentionally. I have done it several times. Threw one dude right over the trunk of his car and jacked him in the nose. Took an entire handfull of chest hair from some other pussy that did not want to talk about why he tried to kill me.

The country roads I used to ride are now 45 mph to the suburbs. There is no place to go. I have the same rights. If it is an accedent and I die, so be it. But the attitude I read above smacks of the shit I deal with every day.

Before you tell me to go on the bike path, I average 25mph for a 56 mile time trial. I would kill about three kids in that distance.

Believe me I try to stay out of the way. But you HAVE to take a lane or you will be run off the road. I HAVE to be agreesive or I will get killed by the fucking red necks.
