College Football Playoff (2016-2017 Season)

For the first time in my life I root for Michigan and this is what they do ? I felt dirty all game but I knew Ohio State needing Michigan to win out to control their own destiny.

So now what ?

Ohio State is likely to move to #2 in the playoff rankings but even if they win out can they still make the playoffs ?

This has got to be the most confusing situation for the playoffs.

If Ohio State wins out but does not make their own league championship game can they still get into the playoffs ?

Well, #2, #3, and #4 lost today. We are number #5 does that move us up to #2?

If Ohio State ends up 11-1 and does not go to the B1G10 Championship game (i.e. Ped State has the head to head tiebreaker), can Ohio State still make it to the CFPs?

Buckeyes will be #2 on Tuesday. So to not make the playoffs (assuming we win out), three teams would have to jump us.

Now, which teams, exactly, would those be?

Relax.

What if both PSU and tOSU win out but the cult loses in the B1G title game? This is nuts.
Same scenario, but a mildly safer one, since OSU beat UW.
I'd say win out and we're in. By the end of the season we may have played the toughest schedule in the country this year
agreed. Loss may be to playoff bound PSU, wins over top-12 UM, OU, UW (before CCG).
