I'm going to wait and see how they do against LSU before I crown them. Hurts hasn't gone up against a single legit D yet nor has he walked into a hostile environment like the young Buckeyes have and come away unscathed. I still think the SEC overall is just way down rather than Bama being that good.

I didn't say scUM deserved to be #2. I said I'm fine with it. I hope they roll into Columbus right where they are now.
From my understanding, for Ohio State to make it into the B1G championship, scUM needs to stay undefeated.
But yes, at this point I would love to see their hearts shatter into a mission pieces inside of Ohio Stadium.

FIVETHIRTYEIGHT FORECAST: 7 PERCENT CHANCE OHIO STATE WINS NATIONAL TITLE
If the College Football Playoffs started Wednesday night, No. 6 Ohio State would be on the outside looking in. (I guess it's a good thing the playoffs don't start tonight, right?)
And though OSU suffered a loss at Penn State and looked disjointed in a four-point win over Northwestern, all of the Buckeyes' season goals are still achievable. At this point, it's just a matter how how likely those goals are.
It's the kind of debate that fills bars across America. Some people like to follow their gut. Others like to crunch the data.
For the latter crowd, enter FiveThirtyEight, ESPN's poll analysis–sports hybrid led by Nate Silver. According to its latest forecast, the Buckeyes only hold a 7 percent chance of taking home the national title. For comparison's sake, Alabama leads with 31 percent and Michigan, No. 3 on the list, is at 20 percent.
In better news, FiveThirtyEight gives Ohio State a 25 percent chance to win the Big Ten and a 30% to make the playoff.

Can they beat Wisconsin in a neutral site rematch when both teams have equal prep time?
Those are the odds for OSU to make the playoffs. Simple as that.
As for the NC odds, here are one books odds:
remember these aren't meant to be predictive. These are meant to create as close to equal action on both sides as possible.
