College Football Playoff (2015-16 Season)

Thanks for the clarification.

Good stuff. Apparently the computers hate defense. It's got 4-6 UWash at #36 ahead of #45 7-3 PSU and #61 8-2 Northwestern. Also, 10-0 Iowa (#29) is one spot ahead of 3-6 Georgia Tech.
At least they fixed the SEC bias...oh, wait:

6-4 Tennecheat at #12, right above 10-0 Okie State at #13.
7-3 Georgia (#18), 7-3 Miss St (#20), and 6-4 Arkansas (#21) ahead of 9-1 Sparty (#22).

It even has two-loss Michigan (#17), who lost to Sparty, ahead of Sparty. Other epic lulz include 5-4 West Virginia (#25) and 6-4 Cal (#27) ahead of 10-0 Iowa (#29).

There's not going to be any last week juggling similar to last year. Right now, the top 4 (Clemson, Ohio State, Alabama and ND) control their own destiny. Win out, and they'll be in. There might be some shuffling of seeding, but nobody is going to get bumped.

I'm hoping against hope though for some real carnage that would allow the B1G runner-up to sneak into the 4 spot and then have an all B1G final.

Hey, rest of college foosball..........

I don't expect Okie St to run the table, but if they do, they will leap ND.

I still think ND vs Stanford will be tough.

Not so tough. ND 38 - Texas 3 and Texas beat OU.
Oklahoma will be a conference champion, and ND will not be. You can make an argument that they are a quasi ACC member, and they would not have been a champion in that conference. There's also the fact that Oklahoma finishes with @Baylor, vs TCU, @OK State. ND finishes with vs Wake Forest, @ BC, @Stanford. Again not saying Oklahoma would get in over ND, but I don't think it would be some kind of slam dunk.

FYI, as of right now ND's best win is over Navy. Actually, let me correct that. ND's only GOOD win is over Navy. They're getting even more love for having the best loss, against Clemson. They desperately need Stanford to beat Cal this week, or they will only have one good win. Depending on how Navy finishes, maybe zero good ones. Oklahoma may end up with a few depending on how the other top teams finish.

Eye Test = number of eyes watching TV with that team playing

1. ND
2. Ohio State
3. Texas
4. Alabama
5. USC
6. Michigan

If there's anyway the committee can justify putting any of those teams in the CFP they will.

Take this for what it's worth but here is (2011) attempt at quantification of fandom. If it's at all close to correct, you've significantly over estimated USC's popularity. On the other other hand if you're inserting a the most popular west coat team assuming a regional team will pull in west coast viewers then you may be right. Of course people also watch in the hopes of seeing teams lose which is likely a consideration.

Those ACC numbers seem a little questionable, especially Miami ?
