Didn't strike outIMO, Harold Ramirez didn’t deserve a victory bath for that one. Might as well have doused the pitcher.
Walk-off on a routine grounder straight to the pitcher.
A win is a win, but having to use 8 pitchers? Yikes.
Also, think it's time to send Owen Miller down for "more seasoning." Dude's hitting .109
Huh? He had a .912 OPS in AAA in 2019. He's shown great power at every level. He should hit for power, it's just a matter of if the strikeouts will be too much. It's a shame that the politics of "out of options" never truly gave him a chance to win the starting job in Spring Training.
Emptying the bullpen is going to be a common occurrence when it’s not Bieber or Civale starting the game it seems. That’s going to create some major wear and tear as the season carries on
I do not know if they will miss the playoffs or not this season but I know that they will not win the Division this season. Be with it Bradley or Bauers on the roster. The Indians front office never use the word rebuild when talking about their players. Be it the ones I the major-league roster or the ones in the minors. They have always refused to use that word.Do you think the Indians win the AL Central if they had dumped Bauers in March and started the season with Bradley at 1B? Or are they more likely to miss the playoffs either way? I think it’s the latter, and there’s lots of evidence to suggest that the Indians front office did too. Just because they continue to refuse to say that R word (Rebuild) doesn’t mean that’s not what they are doing!
I do not think that the Indians have enough pitching down in Columbus to do what the Rays have done in the past. I mean when you have guys like Blake Parker already in Cleveland you know you are in a world of hurt.Expect the Indians to do what the Rays did a few years ago in a similar situation. They’ll be making roster moves every couple of days to rotate RPs between Cleveland and Columbus.
