Cleveland There’s Always Next Years (2021 Season)

I hope they come out with the exact same logo and colors as the roller derby team. Not that I like the name or logo or colors, but who here really knew there was a roller derby team in Cleveland?
(I hope nobody raises a hand, or my point will fall flat.)

Best of luck to the roller derby team that hasn't competed since 2019 in their frivolous lawsuit.

Apparently yall don’t follow along with an of the “Intellectual Property” lawsuits that always get filed by patent tolls.. companies that make nothing, do nothing, usually have 1 employee and always sue large companies in the Eastern District of Texas.

Just because they haven’t played in a couple years doesn’t stop anything. This is ‘Merica

Nope. I don't follow those.
The roller derby team is probably "right" by the letter of the law, but that doesn't make me want to root for them. And I really don't want to root for the "Cleveland Guardians" as a baseball team. But I'm sure I will.

Concerned about the teams’ duplicate names causing confusion, Sweatt emailed the Indians’ lawyer on June 22 offering to sell the rights and website domain.
The lawyer replied, offering a “nominal amount, likely no more than fifteen minutes of annual team revenue,” the lawsuit says. Sweatt rejected the offer and countered. He didn’t hear back.

Cleveland’s MLB Team Offered Less Than $10,000 for Guardians Name

It's all about the money now. The Cleveland MLB team is going to end up paying a lot more then $10K in lawyer fees over this.
