Well, I’m certainly pleasantly surprised. He’s raking, but it’s a 4 game sample size. I don’t understand why Bauer’s was extended that much rope (not just a Tribe thing, lots of teams don’t like to admit their prospects are busts), but we will have to see where Bradley is after about 25-30 games. His numbers as he advanced through the minor leagues aren’t promising, but hopefully he can be one of those rare guys who somehow outperforms his AAA numbers in MLB.Bobby Bradley is only hitting .462. Remind me again why he started the season in the minors after he outperformed Bauers in spring training?
Of course he won't play this well all season. I'm hoping for him to hit .250. That being said, Bauers is ass and didn't deserve a roster spot over Bradley from the get-go this year.Well, I’m certainly pleasantly surprised. He’s raking, but it’s a 4 game sample size. Said it before, but will again, I think the Mets are going to seriously regret that contract. Lindor developed rapidly once he hit MLB, but he seemed to have plateaued..or even regressed...a bit the past couple of seasons. Add on the pressure of a monster contract in a fishbowl like New York and I’m not sure this ends up so great for ‘Mr. Smile.’After going 4-4 so far today, Amed Rosario is hitting .277. Lindor is hitting .214. Rosario is also younger and much cheaper. Amed's D has been bad at times, whereas Lindor is stellar defensively, but hard to argue with Amed's overall production.
Can’t argue with that. If Bradley can give them Paul Sorrento production for a couple of seasons, I’d call it a win.Of course he won't play this well all season. I'm hoping for him to hit .250. That being said, Bauers is ass and didn't deserve a roster spot over Bradley from the get-go this year.
And now Seattle is employing him and giving him at bats!Bauers played 43 games with Cleveland this season and had 2 homers and 6 RBI ... which happens to be exactly what Bradley has in just 4 games!
Huh? He had a .912 OPS in AAA in 2019. He's shown great power at every level. He should hit for power, it's just a matter of if the strikeouts will be too much. It's a shame that the politics of "out of options" never truly gave him a chance to win the starting job in Spring Training. His numbers as he advanced through the minor leagues aren’t promising, but hopefully he can be one of those rare guys who somehow outperforms his AAA numbers in MLB.

All you gotta do is get labeled a “top-50” prospect at some point and teams will keep paying you to play baseball no matter how much you suck.
Yes, I know he has power which drove that 2019 OPS. What’s concerning about him being even a decent mlb player is the low batting average and astronomical strikeout rate once he reached AA/AAA. In Akron, he hit .234 and whiffed once every 3.7 at bats across 2 seasons. When he reached Columbus, the BA is up a bit to .251, but his K/AB ratio accelerated to an awful 1/2.6 which is not a good sign for a guy being able to find much success in mlb.Huh?
