Cleveland Indians (official 2012 season)

One of the problems, or maybe not, is that if the Indians keep hanging around first place they will not become sellers but they might become buyers. However, I think the one thing that might hold them back from becoming buyers is that the attendance at their home games has been atrocious. Just over 17,000 for a Reds game is sad.

1-0 still Tribe in the 9th.

Ubaldo pitched 6 2/3 scoreless innings and was really only in trouble when Acab had yet another error. We scored on the first out of the game (sac fly in 1st) and it's been 0's for both teams since.

ps: these uni's are UGLY.

Ubaldo-O showing some signs of being the front of the rotation guy we were hoping he would be...

2-1, 2.05, 21 H, 25/7 K/BB in 26.2 IP in June.

Now, word of caution, Carrasco had a similar run last summer before crashing back to earth and blowing out his arm. But, at least it appears to be progress...especially is control.

of course, part of carrasco's descent after his good run was due to his injury issues.

Well its the 1 walk (and as a result) the sub 1 whip.

To be honest, what I'm noticing in his mechanics is that he's a lot tighter on his feet in the start of his wind up. He was always sloppy just starting (and in a rush when he was frustrated). But seems like he's got his legs, literally back under him.
