Cleveland Indians (official 2012 season)

i see cleveland has started their mid summer swoon early this year.

what's sad is that detroit is under performing so badly that cleveland will trick themselves into thinking they're contenders and they won't be sellers at the trade deadline like they should be.
What players do the Indians have that other teams might want to except for Cabrera, Brantley, and Kipnis:huh: I certainly do not think they should sell Vinnie.

That certainly is a big accomplishment that the Reds should be very proud of:slappy:

chris perez would be a prime candidate to be dealt if the indians were way out of contention, and he'd probably fetch some actual legit prospects.

Honestly, if they think Hagadone can do the job (or whoever, whenever) trade him anyway. This is "sell high" in its greatest form.

But, yeah, Kipnis, Cabrera and Brantley (who I've finally grown to like) are building blocks... and pretty good ones.

Hell, Choo might be another guy to shop.

But, I agree with what you said earlier. If they're within 5 games of .500, they'll delude themselves into thinking they're contenders and hang on to anything worth a damn. Years like last year and this are what will keep this team mired in mediocrity.

I just hope they dont made another awful trade, like the Ubaldo one

I guess the cure for bad pitching is facing the worst offense in the league

Tribe beat the Pirates 2-0, Masterson 7 IP 4 H 0 R 9K/3BB, Perez gets his 21st save

Brantley extends his hit streak to 22 games

Seriously. Can anybody tell me objectively why Tony Sipp is still on this roster? He is [censored]ing TERRIBLE. Get him the [censored] out of here. My blood pressure spikes every time he oozes out of the bullpen. :smash:

Surely there's a journeyman latino reliever out there that can replace him. Just ask Shapiro...guy's like a bloodhound when it comes to those guys.

Pedro ALvarez and hios .196 average looking like Lou Gehrig against these scrubs. [censored] these guys. Just start tanking now, please...

These bums continue to make Alvarez look like Lou Gehrig

2 HR and 6 RBIs in this game...and its only the 5th

Tribe down 9-4....way to get raked on by the worst offense in baseball!
