Cleveland Indians (official 2012 season)

I don't know what the hell got into Pedro Alvarez but I hope he brings it back to Pittsburgh with him.

Hopefully, the Tribe will bounce back against the Reds.

I guess it could be worse....

we could be the Cubs

not only are they starting Luis Valbuena at 3rd....but Jairo Asencio is in their pen too (along with their 22-43 record)

hoarding the Indians trash is about as low as you can get.

This was very nice to read:bonk:

The previous Indians shortstop to make three errors in a game was Ramon Vazquez on June 11, 2006, in Chicago. Vazquez was the utility infielder the Indians kept instead of Brandon Phillips, who has turned into a Gold Glove, All-Star second baseman for a Cincinnati team that opens another three-game series tonight in Cleveland.

I bet the Indians will take a flyer on Sanford next season:lol:

Stanford, a host on SportsTime Ohio, is attempting a comeback. He said he's going to pitch winter ball, probably in Mexico, then try to sign with a big-league club before spring training next year. He said the idea of a comeback came to him while participating in the Tribe's fantasy camp in January.

Tribe win the pitching optional game 10-9

Quote of the game, from Manny Acta's post game presser, after Damon totally blew two fly balls to the wall in left and turned a double down the line into an inside the park HR: "We knew Johnny Damon was not a gold glover." :tongue2:

This is either the luckiest, or grittiest team in all of baseball. No way a team with this roster should even be sniffing .500...

their record in one run games and their pythag would indicate they are lucky.

however, the statistical underperformance of so many guys would indicate that the pythag should face a regression really.

so, what's that mean, they are a little from column A and a little from column B.
