Cleveland Indians (official 2012 season)

No need to worry about run production because Hafner should be back soon:lol add Santana to that gnd we will be like the big Red machine.

Can someone please show Santana how to bunt:huh:

You actually want/expect Santana to have enough bat control to bunt? Have you seen him try to hit this season? Sometimes it looks like he barely understands which end of the bat to hold! While he has improved signficantly behind the plate, his hitting is actually worse than his first season at ML level. He has made NO progress as a hitter. At this point the front office look like fools for giving Santana a long term deal.

Not to worry Tribe fans. Hafner will probably be back sometime next week so Santana and him will give a devastating #4 and #5 hitters. Personally, I would rather have Marson catch most of the time and send Santana to some hitting instructor or someplace.

Also, I am surprised that no one has talked about how Acta backed up Hanahan in New York on Tuesday night when the Yankees 3rd baseman dropped a foul pop-up into the stands and the umpire still called him out. Hanahan after seeing it in the clubhouse between innings came out and said something to the umpire and got tossed. Acta is just to plain for my liking and I would like to see him gone after this season. Give me Sandy or even bring back Omar.

Speaking of Generalissimo Francisco Franco:biggrin2: the Indians signed 3 international players according to this article. No stats in the article. Don't ask me about Roberto Hernandez or whoever:)

Baseball America is reporting that the Indians have signed international free agents Francisco Mejia, Yoiber Marquina and Naoki Hashimoto. Mejia and Marquina are catchers from the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, respectively. Hashimoto is a right-hander from Japan.
