How about Johnny Damon and his great arm throwing out Pujos trying to stretch a single I would also keep Marson catching and let Santana do whateverSCBuck13;2174104; said:A coupe 3 run bombs from Brantley & Kotchman, as well as solid hitting throughout the line-up and the tribe are up 12-3 in the 6th.
I'll take 2 out of 3 from the Angels anytime.

Tell me which team would want this toe tapping .230 or whatever hitter The only reason he is batting 5th is to protect Haffner I have no idea why Acta continues to play Santana every day. Marson should be getting the majority of playing time until he starts to fade and then maybe there might be some rationale to play Santana but until then he should be doing is toe tapping in the dugout.A Pac;2174571; said:A couple of things. First of all his swing looks 100 times better from the right side. I've been saying they should make him a perminant right handed hitter. Also, I've seen him play for 2+ seasons now and his swing is the exact same long contraption that it was on day one. It has more moving parts than a Rolex. Yet the career .237 hitter has yet to change his swing. It's possible that he is not very open to being coached and is stubborn. Part of me believes this but part of me doesn't buy it. Look at how receptive he's been to defensive coaching from Sandy. He's night and day from last year. I don't know what to believe but he needs to make some sort of adjustment or else he will be trade bait next season.
I can't see them trying to trade him, nor can I see teams lining up for him with that contract. We might just have to accept that he's going to be a fraction of what we expected and live with it. A .235-15-70 guy behind the plate can be acceptable as long as his defense is solid. Just sucks that he may not be the middle of the order guy he was supposed to be.A Pac;2174571; said:A couple of things. First of all his swing looks 100 times better from the right side.
