Well hopefully this is a start to them turning it on

They get a 4 game series with Baltimore now. Game 1 is against Bundy, who has a 3.39 ERA. Then games 2,3 and 4 feature SPs for Baltimore with 8.07, 6.60 and 4.29 ERAs.

Hopefully the offense doesn't predictably fall flat on it's face against that murderers row of SP.

This is the best shot of momentum they've had all year. If they can carry it over into Baltimore and at least split the series, we should be in good shape.

Encarnacion has been on fire and is starting to look like they player we paid all that money for. Now we just need Kipnis and Santana to wake up. Santana has always been a slow starter, but he's been even worse than normal this year. Would also like to see Lindor go back to being the player he was his first two years. He's pressing too much to be a power hitter and it isn't working. He's not a .250-.260 hitter.

Yea, if Kipnis and Santana can pull their heads out of their asses this team could take off. Lindor is the most shocking struggle though, spot on about him needing to get back to what he does best instead of trying to kill the ball.

Chisenhack has had a quietly strong start, by his standards. He has 10 HR and 35 RBI in 122 ABs. His best season in the MLB was 13 HR and 59 RBI (478 AB) back in 2014.

Jose Ramirez has carried over, and even improved off last year (already has as many HR as he did with around the same average and OBP) which I didn't really expect to happen.

Zimmer has also looked very top prospectish. .368 OBP 4 HR and 6/7 in SBs in 77 ABs, they need to keep rolling with him. I'd hate to see him get sent back to AAA or lose a bunch of playing time in favor of fucking Almonte when he's off the DL.

All 3 will be fine in the long run. Santana is streaky anyway.

Hopefully the other 3 get going by the time this cools off... because its gonna.

I'm a little surprised with the dingers, but, He's so fucking hard to get out, I don't know if there's a strategy to pitch to him that's going to work consistently.

Don't ever type "Almonte" again...

Pfft, so the losers managed to tee off on the best of the bunch (3.39 ER) and run into a *few* extra base hits. Sure.

No. Doubt. They get blanked the next 3.
