2-0. The way this rotation has fallen off a cliff is awe inspiring. And it's getting too far along in the season to expect it will simply come around.Reds up 1-0 in the 2nd
5 of the first 6 Indians batters go down striking out.
Tomlin has never had particularly good stuff, you just have to hope he can get by on mixing speeds and location, neither of which he's doing this year. He's a glorified batting practice tosser. A 7+ ERA approaching June is Schrom-esque.Make it 2-0
Meatball Tomlin at it again. Very little chance at Ws when him or Bauer take the hill.

Sweep.the Astros, wanna bet they get swept by the Reds? Goats are standing by...

Kluber has a strong enough track record that I feel confident he'll round in to form when he comes back. I'm optimistic about Clevinger as well. He's always had good stuff, and it looks like he's figured it out. I don't expect him to dominate like he has, but he could be a solid #3 behind Klubot and Cookie. Cookie's health is always a concern. Hopefully he avoids the injury bug this year. Salazar has been trash since the all Star break last year. He looks like he could benefit from a trip to C-bus to get his head straightened out, but I don't think they have that luxury. Bauer is what he is. He has great stuff, but a ten cent brain. He's always gonna be a guy that is capable of going out and dominating, but more times than not he's gonna be shit. I was never high on him at all.I expected Tomlin and Bauer to be garbage.
Can't expect to only have 3 starters who don't get lit up nearly every outing and win constantly though. They don't even have 3 considering Kluber was getting bombed before he went on the DL and Salazar has been a hot mess.
Them being 4 games over .500 is kind of remarkable considering Carrassco is the only starter with a ERA under 5 (not counting Clevinger since he has only thrown 17 1/3 innings) and the inconsistency of the offense.

Basically, if this team wants to get to, and make noise in October, they're gonna have to make a move to upgrade the rotation. Disappointing, because we expected the rotation to be a strength, and it's turned out to be our biggest weakness.
