Ok very very serious question.. I don't live in Ohio so I don't get all the Indians news...

Question is... why does Perez play? He can't hit for [Mark May] and can't run.

1) He's Bauer's "personal" catcher.

2) Gomes can't catch every game anyway - no catcher does - so Perez needs to play every so often.

3) Perez is also very good defensively and has some power at the plate.

4) They're both still shitty, so who cares?
