Ok very very serious question.. I don't live in Ohio so I don't get all the Indians news...
Question is... why does Perez play? He can't hit for shit and can't run.
Yan is equally as good in the field and is much better at the plate. Not to mention he moves well for a catcher.
Perez is a guaranteed out 4 of every 5 at bats. He should never play and to be honest the fact that Perez never improves baffles me.
If you're a MLB player and struggle hitting how you don't hit 1000 balls a day to improve is beyond me. He's regressed even

Chisenhall HBP in the bottom of the 6th. Ump said it hit Chisnehall's hands but it really nicked the handle of his bat and went right into Sanchez's glove. Would have been a foul tip and ended the inning. Lindor hit a grand slam a few pitches later. It's a reviewable play but Girardi decided not to challenge. I'm sure they'll be whining about it for the rest of time.
