Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

About the only thing that could be classified as "best case scenario" for the Cavs this season was their mid-season trade. If Carroll plays tomorrow it just means he's was a huge pussy last night. If he's gimped up like Kyrie I don't think you want to throw him out there against Lebron or JR.

At the same time, Game 2 has to be approached as a must-win for Atlanta. As bucklion pointed out... they're not going to get 4/5 with 3 games in Cleveland.
So even if he's gimped up, they can't afford to sit him in a close game. On the other hand, the Cavs could play like they did towards the end and lose big =/

Kyrie may not play tonight: http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/201...ound-questionable-game-2-versus-atlanta-hawks

They're also doing another MRI to make sure he hasn't further damaged his knee. I'm interested to see how the Cavs play tonight, with or without Kyrie. I think they're good enough to beat the Hawks even when Atlanta lays it all on the line in a must-win game (like tonight). A 2-0 lead would all but end things, so I hope LeBron and his Island of Misfit Toys come out and play hard. I also hope this means Kyrie's ass will be on the bench until the series is over. We'll miss his three point shooting, but that's really all he's doing better than Dellavedova right now.

If the Cavs can win tonight without Kyrie (if he doesn't play)... you sit Kyrie til the finals for max rest cuz we definitely need him if we want a prayer to beat GS or even Houston. The only reason you would bring Kyrie back for the ECF is if Atlanta can get to Game 6.

Cavs need to get off to a good start tonight. This will be a desperate and hungry Hawks team, and I would like to see the Cavs break them early. That said, of course this game will come down to the last shot and I will have a heart attaaaaaaack.

Great start to be up 5 at the half. Really great defense from Delly and Shump...the whole team really. Great rebounding as usual from Thompson and LeBron has had some brillian moves to the hoop. Then we picked up some big points off the bench from Shump, Jones, and JR. C'mon Cavs, one more good half and let's dish out a death blow.

How good is LeBron. Geez. This is a team full of wounded misfits that couldn't amount to a bag of feces elsewhere, yet somehow they are on the verge of the finals. The guy truly makes everyone around him better - modern day basketball Midas touch.
