Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

I'm not saying he should or he shouldn't. I'm just putting on my tinfoil hat for a second, and thinking that IF HE DID leave Miami in 2014, Cleveland would be hard to pass on for a reunion.

*Taking my tinfoil hat off now

Go [censored] yourself Lebron.

I agree, I just hope it doesn't happen...not that I think it would.

Shit, I didn't think Bynum would be a Cav... I thought about it when he left LA, but thought he'd never come to Cleveland. This ownership and FO is doing a solid job of building a contending squad devoid of a superstar. (Kyrie is a baller, but not a Superstar yet)

@SamAmicoFSO: Now, source says, keep eye out for Cavs' possible pursuit of SF Andrei Kirilenko.

Man, they're going all out. Really refreshing to see.

Please, pinch me. After they drafted the Russian, I thought AK47 might be a decent fit. Once again, I figured it was just a pipe dream.

Would be great if Gilbert taped the phone conversation with LeBitch's agent.

"Hey Dan, it's Mav. Wat up? Wanna talk LeBron coming back to Cleveland for some unfinished business."

"Oh what's happening Mav? Tell LeBron to go fuck himself. Take care."

Ok, well let's say Bynum is healthy. Let's go even further and say Kyrie is healthy. Let's just wish in one hand and [Mark May] in the other and hope that Varejao is healthy.

I mean, this team is a contender in the East, no? The Heat have no one who can guard Bynum. They struggled against Roy Hibbert for crying out loud. The Heat have no one who can guard Kyrie. Sure, Lebron could put up spot duty against Tony Parker, but Irving is simply a faster player at this point in their respective careers.

Two players that the NBA champs couldn't even realistically hope to check? Pipe dream because they'll never ALL be healthy, but...

[censored] him. If Dan Gilbert has any balls, he'd turn up his nose if LeBald came sniffing around.
Yeah, I'm sure any sensible owner would turn down an offer from the best basketball player in the world to come play for his team.

WTF? I understand the "hate," but talk about cutting off one's nose ...

Is it a pipe dream? Yep... BUT I LOVE PIPE DREAMS!!!

Really if Bynum is 60%-%75 of his last full season with the Lakers (and Kyrie stays healthy for the season) that we are not at least the 5 seed and maybe can get as high as a 3 seed.

That is the beauty of Bynum... we don't need him to play 30+ minutes a night. We have Andy/Zeller that can keep him fresh and not wear out his knee. On the flip side this limits Andy's minutes and hope to keep him from getting his annual freak injury.

Now if they somehow drug AK47 to take a small 1 year type deal... shit... then we can really dream for some sort of magical season if we stay healthy and maybe have Waiters turn into Dwayne Wade and Bennet playing like a real #1 pick.

And yes... I smoked some really good stuff :pimp:

For $6 mill. guaranteed, how could they not roll the dice? If he sucks and doesn't play, they're only out 6 mill. If he plays good and reaches the incentives, then they're in great shape.

I gotta give Grant credit. I thought he'd have to offer alot more to get Bynum to Cleveland. He also did it without giving up any future assets.

With them now having some actual depth, Brown can lighten everyones
minutes load to keep everyone stronger and hopefully healthier.

I really don't think satarters and reserves won't matter. Guys will shuffle in and out of different positions all game long.

If anything, it should be an interesting season.

The really ironic thing here is that Kyrie now has a far better supporting cast than LeBald ever came close to having. Of course, spending a couple of years in the lottery helps...

Back when Lebron came in they got too good too fast and screwed up their one top 10 draft pick while Lebron was here. If not for the idiocy of "The Decision" I could almost believe that the plan all along was for Lebron to leave for a few years so the Cavs could build through the draft for his return. He handled leaving completely the wrong way which is why I see there being no chance that he comes back. He will have his choice of NBA teams next summer and I don't see him humbling himself to come back to Cleveland and deal with the fans.
