Yep, started with 7,000. Been taking 2 since week 10. Needless to say, it was slim pickens.

Made it to final 8, which is cool but a very cruel kick in the nuts to be so close to a large sum of money. Currently 4 people went down with me- a couple on Buffalo and one each on Houston and Carolina.

Niners hold on and 3 more go down, leaving the Titans-Giants combo a winner. Couldn’t imagine.

Sorry to hear it. I was pulling for you. I’d followed along as you’ve posted the updates throughout the season and it just sucks to make it that far and then have to rely on teams like the Bills. I suppose that’s the reality most face this late in to something like that.

Pick distribution for Week 14 was this:

BUF-CAR
BUF-NYG (me)
BUF-PIT
DEN-NYG
DEN-NYG
DEN-PIT
DET-HOU
NYG-TEN

So yeah, no one was really sitting pretty. Wish I would have done Houston last week and saved Titans for Jags this week. But who knows, I maybe I would have leaned Buffalo-Tennessee. It was all a shitshow at this point.

To sum it up, the Browns always have and always will find a way to fuck me.

And there we go, 7 of the 8 survivors go down in one week. Raiders topped it off too. Wild weekend. $50k to some lucky person. I would have been top 3 if Bills don’t let Sam Darnold lead a 2 minute drill.

I will say that SanFran win made this day muuuch better. Winnings just about tripled as I went down with everyone else and we split those payouts.

I wouldn't want to change anything that would have saved Hue Jackson's job, but if the ref's hadn't screwed the Browns over in the Raiders game they would actually have a legit shot to win the North. As it stands the Broncos are trending down so we'll see what Mayfield looks like in prime time a mile high, the Bengals have cratered, and who knows what to expect from the Ravens. We beat them once before we had an NFL offense. The Steelers have NE, @NO, and then a gimmie against the Bungles. As it stands the Browns would have to win out, the Steelers would have to lose out, and the Ravens would need to drop 2 including the last game against the Browns. If the Browns had 1 more win they would still need to win the next 3 games but the Steelers would just have to drop 2 very losable games.

All I have to say is fuck you Hue Jackson and Todd Haley. The better the Browns play the more I like the Bruce Arians plan of keeping Kitchens and Williams as coordinators with a legit HC. For the first time in my memory the Browns seem to be trending in the right direction so the most Browns thing to do would be to blow up the coaching staff.

Which is why my money is on this franchise churning through three different offensive coordinator retreads every season until Baker's irreparably broken and out of the league in 2020.

The Browns can't have nice things.

Hell an average NFL kicking game puts them at 2-0 to begin the season too.

It's a good start and I agree with you that a legit HC go to along with Kitchens and Williams would be a good step but the Browns won't do that.
