Well you certainly got a lot of players and it looks a little bit better than the draft that I did but I do not know if Watkins is going to last until pick 7 and I would be unhappy with Carr. I like the Joyner pick but I do not like the selection of a DT with our fourth selection. We have enough guys on the roster that I do not think we need any more defensive linemen. I guess I might have selected a higher -ranked OL rather than a DT. Not picking on you but just thought I would give you my two cents. As I said, it looks a lot better than the one I did.

Thanks for the feedback. Normally, I would not have gone with the DT's at those points but those guys dropped to me and no one else was better on the board. So I took the BPsA. As far as Watkins, he dropped to 7 after I made the trade. Cool thing about that website some guys drop and some guys go early. It's a crapshoot. Plus, BB was off the board so I traded down. Worked out nicely!

Browns release DQ. I felt his contract could have been re-structured. He's a veteran presence on a youthful linebacking corps. I felt he had another decent year or so. I guess this mean CJ Mosley is a prime target now ...?

They probably can find a fairly decent one in free agency for the amount of money that DQ wanted. I guess he did not want to renegotiate his contract but I do not know that for a fact. I think that Roberson is anothe FA so we really will need some ILB's one way or another.

Don't have to go to Mosley right away - Kiko Alonso was a projected 3rd or 4th rounder last year, Bills took him in the 2nd and the guy is elite. CBS noted some guys like Borland and Bullough as potential guys and I agree, I wouldn't mind Borland in the 3rd at all.

I assume the browns will sign someone that will likely be a cap casualty like Darryl Sharpton or even Jonathan Vilma, and draft at least one, if not two ILB candidates. I'd posit that Arthur Moats is a likely replacement candidate.

I like Borland, effort, toughness instincts. I do also think Bullough would be a solid addition as well. Both have similar qualities but I do prefer Borland.

As a fan, I'll always appreciate and be thankful for DQ's efforts as a Brown. Classy guy, hard worker, zero complaints about him. Hate to see him go. Best ILB in the league? Absolutely not, but productive and smart. Time to move on. Many good options looking toward the future of ILB........
