Cleveland Browns (2014 Season)

Then copy and paste the link to back your claim. Not hard.

And your tangent about manziels skill set as it relates to the browns system and his draft position is of zero consequence to hoyers future with Cleveland next year. End of story.

Nope. You can use google, you're a big boy now. ill give you a hint, its the very first source on google. and no its literally everything, you tell me how many first round QBs get drafted not to play. End of story. but keep trolling, you have yet to add a single fact.

The only fact needed is the fact that manziel is glued to the bench and will be for the foreseeable future. I mean I could always point out how Aaron Rodgers rode the bench for years. But the bottom line is that hoyer will be the starter for the browns for the remainder of this year and all of next if the team wants him to be. Nothing else to be said.

I dont think the word fact means what you think it means....didnt rodgers end up playing? yes? oh ok thats what i thought.
but hey keep trolling with your little 5 year old fingers in your ears screaming la la la la cant hear you defensive post. on ignore you go.

And Back on topic. its amazing how good Taylor Gabriel has been for a UDFA, he's a pure case of his size and playing at a small school effecting his draft status, if he were 5'11 instead of 5'8 and played at even a Kent State or Akron he would probably have gone in the top 2 rounds.

Ummm, he played 4 years later, which would be exactly what will happen to manziel if the browns extend hoyer. You seem to have some sort of anger issue though.

Rodgers played because the front office was ready to move on from Farve believing that his play had sharply declined. Which, outside of one crazy season with the Vikes, was extremely accurate.

Wow. Go to lunch come back to a pissing match. I guarantee everyone, even the biggest Manziel supporters, have a trade that they would agree to if the Cowboys really want him. I personally have always had doubts about Manziel and haven't seen anything to change my mind so my trade might be lower than others. I also have seen what overpaying an average QB like Dalton or Flacco can do to a salary cap and don't want to see that happen to the Browns for a guy like Manziel. I think a new contract for Hoyer would be reasonable and he probably has 5 years or so left in the tank.

So who else thought Benjamin was getting cut today between the muff and catching his first TD of the game? Can't wait for Gordon to get back to see what the offense can really do. If they can somehow be .500 when that happens the end of the season could get interesting.

Nope. Theres no guarentee Hoyer is with the team after this year, the Browns didnt trade up for Manziel to dump him on a HUGE risk like Hoyer, what happens if the knee goes again? what happens if his play was just because of a contract year? what happens if Houston comes calling with a 12-14 per year deal? Too many variables to risk with Hoyer until AFTER this off-season. you guys seem to underestimate how much Shannhan and Pettine love Manziel, they just know its better for him to sit because he's still a project.

i think Benji is done on PR.

What makes me laugh is that you think Hoyer is the greater risk compared to Manziel. The undersized goblin that runs around like a chicken with his head cut off.

Right. Obviously you're fucking high quite early in the day. What other reason would it have been? Seeing as how Rodgers sat behind Farve four years. Did the Packers front office just think 4 was a nice round
number to start at?

nope you just dont know what the hell you're talking about. how about the fact Farve was 36 and at the end of his contract when they drafted him? Rodgers was drafted in 05, Farve had his last season in green bay in 07. the 3 years before Rodgers was drafted Farve threw for a combined 89 TDs to 13 INTs, so how in the hell are you not wrong? but hey keep ignoring facts and crying like a little bitch because you dont understand football. Gotta laugh at people like you who get so butthurt when proven wrong and caught up in lies.

You're right, it had nothing to do with his off season surgery or throwing interceptions at the most crucial moments in games. I.e. the NFC championship. Also toss in the rumors in 06' when he was considering retirement.

And who use's the word 'butthurt' other than a 16 year old?

edit: For all that brilliance Farve had during the 2007 season, I remember him playing like shit against good opponents.

Everyone can beat on Johnny but probably the worst pick in the draft might be Gilbert. I do not think he played one down yesterday but sometimes a rookie CB well improve in his second season. One can only hope.

Pettine can take some credit for the win yesterday but if Locker had not gotten hurt I think he would be taking a lot out of heat today. For a defensive minded coach, this team is pretty bad defensively.
