Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

And we are the most loyal fans in sports. I will argue that with anyone.

That fucking stadium sells out every week no matter what and they keep trotting a shitty product out there for us year after year.

I mean, even the Bengals and the Lions are good now. You almost have to accidentally have a good season every now and then with the way the league is set up.

Yet year after year this franchise is an exercise in disappointment.

I hate being a Browns fan.

jackson tore his pec during training camp, a few weeks before the season started, not 4 months before the season.

the normal recovery time is 4-6 months for this. 4 months puts him back at the start of the season, but I doubt they'll rush him from that kind of injury.

Well, since the Indians are going into the tank, I thought I would pimp the Browns with a nice story but doubt if he will make the team.
BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns are hoping that Leroy Kelly Jr. is a chip off the old block. Even a tiny chip would do.

The old block, of course, is Hall of Fame running back Leroy Kelly, who starred for the Browns from 1964-73 and was enshrined in 1994. Kelly Jr., 27, is an NFL hopeful at safety and returner who will get a tryout with the Browns on Monday, he told The Plain Dealer Wednesday. If they like him, he could stick around for the minicamp June 5-7.

"I'm very, very excited,'' said Kelly Jr. "Especially because it's the Cleveland Browns. It would mean a lot to me if they kept me around, and it would definitely mean a lot to my dad.''

How much would it mean to Kelly Sr., a six-time Pro Bowler? "If they brought me into training camp, he'd probably do a back a flip at the age of 72,'' said Kelly Jr. "He's keeping his composure, but I know he's very excited.''

Indeed, he is.

"It's really nice of them to take a look at him,'' Kelly Sr. said. "It's exciting for me, but more exciting for him. I'd love to see him get an opportunity. Even if he stayed around on the practice team, that would be nice. I'll always be a Browns fan. I follow them on the Internet.''

Hopefully this means big things for Little next year. He has the talent to be a good WR if he can fix his drop problem. Of course with Weeden winging the ball at 100 mph that might be easier said than done. Hopefully the weight loss and on field work will give Little the extra step he needs to get open down the field now that the Browns have a qb that can throw it more than 20 yards.

BEREA--In the midst of all the hype of the Browns new draft picks, one young veteran is flying under the radar.

Second-year safety Eric Hagg has been lining up with the first unit at free safety.
"I don't think you can read anything into it," Pat Shurmur said.

The Browns chose to let versatile Mike Adams leave in free agency, putting the honus on Hagg step up and contribute.

Most felt that Usama Young would be the starter at free safety, but Hagg looks to be giving Young a run. He intercepted Brandon Weeden during 11 on 11 drills Wednesday.
