So, there was Lovie and the CFL guy, for starters. This just seems like a really inopportune year to be claiming there weren't options.

you're really advocating for a guy that was a CFL head coach? and this is supposed to be serious?

Ya know, why not go the 1st time head coach route again. We've had such smashing success with that strategy so far!

Retreads- 1 (Mangini)
College- 1 (Butchie)
1st time head coaches- 3 going on 4th (Palmer, Crennel, Shurmur, Chud). All three were disasters.

It holds a little water.

And yes, Trestman's resume is at least as impressive as Chud's, including HC experience.
