Cleveland Browns (2009 Season)

If we take a QB in the draft, sign me up for Colt Mccoy. His current draft grade is late 1st round/ early 2nd. One consistent factor in NFL success for QB's is college starts and Colt has a lot. He is just a tough guy and I think he will be successful.

I'm really getting disgruntled... If we had the entire 1st round ourselves... we'd still be a mess.. so many needs...

This is good therapy for me... cuz I cannot tell a non-Brown fan any of these disappointments...

I really think we need one of the top defensive players in the front of the draft. Either Gerald McCoy, Ndamukong Suh, carlos Dunlap, or Eric Berry . Personally Suh would be my choice...we can pass the time on Sunday's next year listen to announcers slaughter the pronunciation of his name.

There are a ton of players who have had injury concerns going into the draft process (see Adrian Peterson). His shoulder will be evaluated to the "nth" degree, and if team doctors and NASA ultimately determine that he is worth the risk, I believe he may still be a top 10 pick. His biggest issue is that his injury is to his throwing shoulder. It sounds like he may have surgery at this point, he's a smart kid, he will do what is best for himelf and his future. I don't believe for one second that his injury "should remove him from the Brown's board."

I can see the ability in Jake Locker, I think he could be a viable option. Colt McCoy is a great QB, however, I think he's going to be tougher to grade than Bradford in terms of transitioning to the NFL. You think Bradford is in the shotgun formation alot? Watch McCoy. Jimmy Clausen? I don't know what I think about him yet.

Regardless of what Bradford decides to do, I think he's the best QB in this class, by a long shot.

I think they would have to trade both Anderson and Quinn before drafting another QB. Quinn's cap numbers are a little more friendly than Anderson's so he probably could be dealt a little easier. I am not that sure about Anderson's cap numbers for next year. I guess I would almost rather keep DA and bring in a veteran QB to help him out or even possibly fight for the starting position.

I know that they will examine Bradford's shoulder to the nth degree by guys had been examined before by "NASA" and still get injured when they turned professional. You must remember that the professional game is much faster and harder hitting. I loved Bradford until the shoulder injury but the Browns had so many other needs especially on defense.

I guess I don't understand why some of you want to draft Suh unless you think we are going to get rid of Rogers or that other guy that plays NT (Rubin). I am not even sure about Berry because when Ed Reed went to the Ratbirds he had some defense in front of him and I think the Browns need to fill those positions first. However, it is like NJ-Buckeye says this team has so many needs I really don't know where to begin or how long it will take before they are competitive again:(

Suh is the prototype for a 3-4 DE. He has nothing to do with Rogers or Rubin.

okay then let's get rid of Corey Williams and his Fat ass contract along with some of the other guys who are trying to play that position this season and draft Sum . It all begins up front.

corey williams is certainly a square peg in a round hole at the DE spot. however, Cleveland may need to be picking in the top 3 to get Suh.

He looks like a top pick for sure. There's so many shit teams this year, it's hard to say where the Browns will end up. a 4-12 record this year may only net the 6th pick. Of course they play 3 of those teams this year, so they kind of control their own destiny I guess.

so i think the answer will be that cleveland will inevitably win one more game than they need to in order to get who they want.
