Cincinnati Bengals (Just Burrow In)

Nice win there. Brown looked great out there, need him to have an equal split with Mixon. Browning has a pretty great command of the huddle it seems, he's really doing as well as he can. Defense is back to almost full strength, not really counting chickens but they're slowly moving back to almost decent.

Still in it, making the playoffs would be commendable but I've seen enough from the players to want these coaches back for another year. Just beat Minnesota and hope for help, we are doing pretty damn well considering the circumstances.

Hendrickson was not offside, and the pick six should have counted. He timed it perfectly.

Glad it didn’t matter, but I thought NY was watching these games to prevent that stuff?

Note that the angle makes it look like he’s offside. He moves before the ball is snapped, but he doesn’t look like he crosses before the ball is snapped.

Would have mattered for my fantasy team!

Interesting, looked offsides during the game replay. But I'm usually a few beers deep by then and things happen fast, glad we just got the win though. He's usually excellent at timing the snap though, so that'll happen occasionally whether the refs got the call right or not.

Really can't believe we won that one after such shit play for about 3 quarters, but man I'll take it. In my eyes, we beat the Steelers and Browns, we're probably in. Tough ask, but we control our own destiny to get in the playoffs...pretty incredible really.

One thing I've seen that is cracking me up is going from Joe Sheisty to Jake Feisty after he yelled "You should have never fucking cut me!" in front of the camera on Sunday. Jake is playing with an edge, certainly not his best game but he digs deep with the game on the line. About the best performances you can ask for after Burrow got hurt.

I'll with with Reader out for the year now and also Ivey, plus Chase looking rough, it's going to be tough making the playoffs. If we just make it under these circumstances, I'll be happier than a two-peckered billy goat.

It would hurt to see Burrow on another team, but the Bengals could be like the 49'ers if Browning could keep playing like this long term and they convince, say the Giants, to take Joe's contract. (Don't know if it's realistic to expect another team to add his $35M per year to their payroll... There haven't been any such trades as far as I know because it's only recently that salaries have gone that high...) Or they could keep Burrow and his enormous contract and be like the Chiefs, who might be starting a long term decline because Mahomes takes too much of the payroll.

But of course Burrow would start next year barring another injury, and Browning would again get no playing time. So trade Burrow this offseason, take a chance on Browning and build the entire team around him, or trade Browning for not a whole lot and still be stuck with Burrow's salary?
