Chris Fowler was talking about the culture the clemson coaching staff instills versus the culture OSU's staff instills, in general. Apparently dabo told Fowler "they make their players want to quit everyday. That's the Ohio State way." He went on to say, in contrast, at clemson they "make their players feel good about themselves" and nurture them, let them grow sort of naturally or some [Mark May]. Kind of like coddling them along.
His assessment (which could be bull[Mark May]) of the culture instilled by the OSU coaching staff reminded me of the military training methods that I've heard Meyer uses to get his players ready. Making the kids "want to quit everyday" sounds kind of military to me. But it has to be bull[Mark May] meant to sway recruits. And I'd think recruits must know OSU's training regimen well enough to know what the culture will be.
